In the Dominican Republic we are working to secure Residency & Citizenship Rights for Haitians and have filed Crimes Against Humanity charges on their behalf in the International Criminal Court

CHILE

In Chile, against Immigrant Worker Exploitation & Forced Deportation. Here, on the streets of Santiago and outskirts, up to 200,000 legal Afro-Caribbean migrants are exploited, abused and regularly subjected to forced deportation..

HAITI 

In Haiti, against Exploitation of Labour where 60% of the Afro masses live in poverty, where labour exploitation means often a 60hr week and $2/day resulting in sub-standard living: unstable housing, no electricity, no running water, no in-door plumbing, poor health care, little educational oportunities, poor sanitation and very little social services.

Elsewhere

Concerns for the circumstances and conditions of detention and incarceration of migrant communities throughout the region deemed to be illegal.

BRAZIL 

In Brazil against Race-Based Violence & Discrimination. Here, much of the Afro community is confined to an inner-city, ghetto existence in Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilla and elsewhere, victims of violence, police brutality, poverty, social inequality and political under-representation.
